An access audit
is an assessment of a building or proposed building (new build)
against pre-defined criteria. An audit will also describe the liability
of the organisation under Part II and III of the Disability Discrimination
Act 1995 (DDA).
How
does MDA conduct an access audit?
We have to assess
your building for accessibility for employees, visitors or customers.
We will visit your premises and conduct a walk-around survey to
assess ease of access.
MDA will prepare
a written report that provides a detailed assessment with accompanied
recommendations for improvement, designed to suit the wide range
of people with disabilities. MDA is a one-stop-shop for all your
accessibility needs and will prioritise your requirements, provide
a detailed quotation for the associated supply of equipment as well
as an estimate for any building or installation work if required.
MDA have 35
years working knowledge of building construction as well as experience
in the provision of audits, mobility products and equipment. Why
not visit our wet room environment at MDA/Scootermart, 11 Canterbury
Lane, Canterbury and arrange an appointment with an access auditor.
